Once I am through this, I would consider writing to someone it just happened to.No commitment, and nothing happens straight away. The people who help most here are the ones who have been through it, and almost nobody thinks to offer.

Your story stays yours. A person reads every submission. We do not rewrite it, reshape it, or put words in your mouth. We will take out anything that identifies you or someone else, we may fix a typo or leave out a part we cannot safely publish, and if you give us an email we will tell you what changed before it goes live. Exactly what we remove, edit, and leave alone.
